I found your company by searching for dress shoes still made here in the USA. I took a gamble and tried a pair I thought looked like my style, [Steel Toe BRISTOL] but when I got them, holy cow, I was not in the least prepared for how perfectly they fit, how much quality was in the craftsmanship, and how AMAZING they feel even after a 12 hour day. Thankyou so much for making such a great product here in the states. I think there is a growing number of people that find it so very important to support our fellow Americans. I am a new Capps Shoe customer and I am totally surprised by the quality, workmanship, and materials used in the shoes I received from Capps shoes. I had almost forgotten what real quality and value was. When I received the shoes I immediately took a picture on my Iphone. I sent it to most of my friends on my mail list. I haven't been this excited about a pair of shoes since I was 10 years old. The only problem was I used the size printed on my imported (Chinese) shoes. It turned out that these foreign shoes were one size off. I reluctantly boxed up my new prized possessions and sent them back. I will be waiting with childlike anticipation for the replacements to arrive.

Thank you for the beautiful shoes. It is so hard to find pretty comfortable shoes made in the US. My children would be happier if all of
the Disney toys were made here in the US.

I wore my black [JUDY] Johansen shoes yesterday while helping to serve at a church luncheon - on my feet from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For an eighty-one year old that's pretty good. I love the way they fit under my high instep - inherited from my grandmother. I also told someone in Greenwood, SC about them. She found it hard to believe that there's such a thing as AA, AAA, etc. instead of just narrow. Hope I've steered some business your way.

I received my order today. I'm in heaven! I never in a million years dreamed I would ever find a pair of shoes that fit my feet so well. I ordered the Paradise Kittens Vista in White Leather, 10.5 AAAA. Do you know how impossible it is to find a size 10.5, let alone in a very narrow width??!! The only thing I have to modify is to add additional holes in the strap that comes across the top - MINOR! I was specifically looking for shoes made in the US and was delighted to find your site. Both pairs of shoes I ordered fit (a rarity!) and are beautifully made. As a bonus, the leather shoes actually smell like leather, unlike those made in China.

I just got my white Anna shoe today, and it is the most comfortable shoe, and is great with pants or skirts. I am always looking for American made shoes and clothes and was so happy to discover your site. I will definitely be buying more shoes from you in the future.

I ordered a pair of your Sodbusters and was tremendously pleased and delighted. Your shoes are everything I hoped for. These are the good quality shoes that I remember from my childhood before the US began importing shoes from foreign countries that don't seem to care about quality. The leather in my new shoes is top quality. The soles are and heels are very comfortable and look durable. The craftsmanship is excellent. They fit my feet as a comfortable pair of shoes should. I have enjoyed wearing them all day long every day that I have worn them. And I get the added bonus of being able to feel great about supporting U.S. industry. Please never stop making great shoes.

....one more suggestion....a line of penny loafers .... I feel as though you'd have a big hit-especially with your price points and domestic manufacturing.... You're doing your country proud by being in business..... I'd rather buy a pair of nubucks from you than Bass knowing that they're manufactured domestically.

I just received my shoes - styles Judy and Lo-Profile, both in smooth black leather.........

These shoes are gorgeous! They are conservative, yet sleek and sexy and will go with everything I own.
They fit PERFECTLY! The way shoes used to fit when I was a kid and someone took the time to carefully measure me. The arch falls where the arch is supposed to fall and the heel doesn't slip. These shoes are properly made and crafted. I have a size 5 foot and the Chinese shoes do not fit me correctly. For years I have been looking for shoes that fit and suffering pain because of poorly made shoes.

I WILL be ordering from you again and I expect my husband will be too, along with anyone else to whom I manage to spread the word.

.....a fine American company! .... I know I will be wearing my Judy's to all the Christmas parties and will talk about them, too. Been a long time since I had really proper shoes. I'm not an obsessive shopper and have better things to do than search forever in the stores, only to find uncomfortable imports for which I pay just as much and sometimes more than I just paid through Capps.
